This committee drafts new policies as requested by the Board; reviews existing policies every five years and the Bylaws every three years (or sooner if needed) and suggests updates, if needed.

The LWVNY Rural Caucus was created to support League members working in rural communities, where geography, sparse population, and limited infrastructure create unique challenges for civic engagement.
It strengthens local rural leagues through collaboration and elevates rural issues within LWVNY.

Every year we send one or two students to Albany for 3 nights to learn about our how our government works. This committee builds relationships with county high schools to foster interest in the program, oversees the selection of students, and acts as the liaison with LWVNY.
